C-Bus2 Control & Management System

HomeMinder can be used on its own or in conjunction with the amazing C-Bus2 Control and Management System to deliver an even greater level of convenience and control.

C-Bus is a microprocessor controlled wiring system used to control lighting and other electrical services within the home. It acts like a hub, linking your home’s electrical services such as lighting and security, and allowing communication between them. We call this “distributed intelligence”.

Innovative C-Bus products like the SceneMaster and Touch Screen wall units, as well as ‘smart’ switches like Neo, act as the command systems for C-Bus. Using these products can trigger certain responses in one or more devices connected to the C-Bus network.

For example, pushing one button on SceneMaster can turn all the lights on downstairs and open the curtains.

PC Control

The new Clipsal HomeGate software provides a simple to use interface to a home’s C-Bus system via a standard PC or Internet connection. HomeGate provides scheduling, manual control and monitoring of a C-Bus system from a PC running WindowsTM 95, 98, 2000, NT, ME or XP. HomeGate comprises of a Project Editor, Real Time Monitoring and Control, a Real Time Scheduler, Security and Access Control and Internet Access. It also includes Help and Support documentation.
